Projects

Understanding that people today have very busy schedules filled with numerous interests, commitments, and meetings, the WCTU has developed a Project-Oriented Approach to achieve its goals.

This approach offers flexibility and enables more individuals who share our interests and concerns to participate. It also allows for quick action. WCTU realizes some projects and issues just can not wait for a "monthly meeting" to make decisions and take action.

Some of our ongoing projects you may be interesting in participating in are:

Truth Without Interruption Day (April) - organize one the your local school

Improving Health education courses in public schools

Praying daily for our government leaders

Holding a Prayer Breakfast, luncheon, dinner or reception and invite government officials

Organizing a Contest - awards for contests may be incorporated into the school's recognition day, a separate WCTU-sponsored program, or a church program.

  • Picture Coloring Contests for grades 1, 2, and 3
